so yesterday three girlfriends and i set off on a somewhat "nick and nora" adventure (and hehe one of my friends happens to be named nora) to find a free concert at hudson park. well, it was an all around epic fail. i am terrible with direction so i left it up to them. BAD idea. they just managed to drag our asses 30 blocks in the opposite direction. needless to say i was cranky, and all around annoyed. not only that, but they are not the type of "lets roam around nyc and see what we can find" type people. such a drag. at least we had a giddy fun train ride home. my next city trip will be with someone who appreciates the beauty and creative flow of the area and it's "wing-it" atmosphere. god damn jersey shore girls. psh.
